Conder Penthouse sits on the Conder building, high above Melbourne’s Docklands.
Located at the head of NewQuay Promenade, the curved shape and predominant glass facade and expansive terrace maximises the views around the city and across Victoria Harbour to the bay.
The unique penthouse was created by joining several apartments together. This required extensive investigation to modify mechanical systems, services, sprinklers and electrical. Building structure modifications had to be made on the terrace to minimise prevailing wind conditions.
Basso Project Management provided extensive planning, project management and interior design services as well as managing all negotiations with the base builder.
“Being responsible for other work within this development meant we had a strong understanding of the services and base buildings. This allowed us to avoid aborted works and provide major savings for our client.” Elia Basso, Director, Basso Project Management
